How the sequence works.

Shoppers move through a listing in order, and each frame has a job to do before the next one matters. Here is what every shot in this template is for, and what it costs you to leave it out.

  1. Hero Product Shot
    Required

    Hero Product Shot

The product alone on a seamless light ground, filling about 75% of the frame, hardware and stitching crisp.

Shoot the product on its own, not on an animal — a pet in the first frame competes with the thing being sold. Centre it on a seamless light ground at about 75% of the frame, and let beds, bowls and toys sit in their natural resting shape rather than being propped into one.

  2. Material / Safety Detail
    Required

    Material / Safety Detail

Macro of weave, stitching, buckles, rounded edges and reflective trim under soft side light.

This is the shot an owner studies before trusting a product with their animal: weave, stitching, buckle, rounded edge, reflective trim, under soft side light. Photograph the real features only — claims like non-toxic or chew-proof belong in the listing text, never rendered into the picture.

  3. In-Use With Pet
    Optional

    In-Use With Pet

The animal using the product in a calm home or garden setting, fitting properly and clearly in focus.

Show the animal actually using it, calm and comfortable, in a bright uncluttered room or garden. Fit is the whole point here: a loose collar, a taut leash or a toy too small for the dog reads as careless, and owners notice it faster than they notice the product.

  4. Size Guide on a Pet
    Optional

    Size Guide on a Pet

Full side view on a plain surface so the product's real proportions against the animal are obvious.

A full side view on a plain surface, so the product’s proportions against the animal are unmistakable. State the breed, weight and size worn alongside it — proportions are a claim, and a shot that flatters the fit becomes a return and a disappointed owner.

  5. Flat Lay / Contents
    Optional

    Flat Lay / Contents

Overhead flat lay with everything in the pack laid out evenly, nothing overlapping.

Everything in the pack, laid out overhead with even spacing and nothing overlapping — the main item plus any attachments, straps or refills. This is what stops the message asking whether the harness comes with the lead.

  6. Optional

    Visual Story

AI-generated video bringing the product to life across multiple angles.

A short clip does what a still cannot: it turns the product through several angles in one continuous take, so the shopper sees how it catches the light and how the parts relate. AdaptiveIQ generates this from your hero shot, so it costs nothing but a click.
