How the sequence works.

Shoppers move through a listing in order, and each frame has a job to do before the next one matters. Here is what every shot in this template is for, and what it costs you to leave it out.

  1. Hero Product Shot
    Required

    Hero Product Shot

Clean, centered product on white/light background with maximum clarity.

This is the image that has to survive a thumbnail grid. Shoot flat-on against a clean ground so the silhouette still reads at 200px wide, because that is the size most shoppers judge it at before they ever reach the product page.

  2. Detail / Material Close-Up
    Required

    Detail / Material Close-Up

Zoom into fabric texture, stitching, or material quality.

Fabric is the single biggest source of returns in apparel. A macro frame on the weave, stitching and hardware answers “will this feel cheap?” before it becomes a refund request.

  3. Lifestyle / On-Model
    Required

    Lifestyle / On-Model

Show the product being worn or used in a real-world context.

A garment on a body communicates drape and proportion that a flat shot cannot. It also lets shoppers place themselves in it, which is what moves a browse into a basket.

  4. Alternate Angle
    Optional

    Alternate Angle

Side, back, or 45° angle to show shape and construction.

Backs, sides and three-quarter turns are where shoppers look for whatever the hero is hiding. Showing it unprompted reads as confidence rather than concealment.

  5. Scale / Size Context
    Optional

    Scale / Size Context

Demonstrate product dimensions using props or flat-lay composition.

Sizing is guesswork without a reference. A flat-lay against a known object, or a model’s stated height, turns “probably fits” into “that fits me”.

  6. Optional

    Visual Story

AI-generated video bringing the product to life across multiple angles.

A short clip does what a still cannot: it turns the product through several angles in one continuous take, so the shopper sees how it catches the light and how the parts relate. AdaptiveIQ generates this from your hero shot, so it costs nothing but a click.
