How the sequence works.

Shoppers move through a listing in order, and each frame has a job to do before the next one matters. Here is what every shot in this template is for, and what it costs you to leave it out.

  1. Hero Product Shot
    Required

    Hero Product Shot

One shoe in lateral three-quarter view, laces tied, on a plain light ground with a faint contact shadow.

A shopper recognises a shoe by its outline before they read a word, and this is the frame that appears in search, collections and ads. Lateral three-quarter with the laces tied and the tongue standing — a collapsed tongue reads as a worn return, not a new pair.

  2. Material & Construction Close-Up
    Required

    Material & Construction Close-Up

A tight crop of the toe box or lace area where texture, stitching and eyelets fill the frame.

Mesh, suede and leather all photograph the same from two metres away, and build quality is exactly what a buyer cannot judge online. A tight crop with side light across a seam is what answers it, and what keeps the pair from coming back.

  3. On-Foot / Lifestyle
    Optional

    On-Foot / Lifestyle

Cropped from the knees down, natural stance, the shoe sharp and the focal point.

A shoe on the shelf is a product; a shoe on a foot is an outfit. Knees down, cuffed trousers, calm background — enough to show how it sits and what it goes with, without the clothing swallowing the shoe.

  4. Sole & Heel View
    Optional

    Sole & Heel View

The full outsole tread, plus a clean rear view of the heel tab and midsole.

Grip, cushioning and how a shoe wears all live on the bottom, and buyers of running and everyday shoes go looking for it. Show the full tread sharp edge to edge and the heel tab from behind.

  5. Pair & Scale Context
    Optional

    Pair & Scale Context

A matched pair from above with a hand at the frame edge for size.

Two things a listing has to settle: that you get a pair, and how big it actually is. A matched pair from above with a hand at the frame edge does both at once, and takes the guesswork out of fit.

  6. Optional

    Visual Story

AI-generated video bringing the product to life across multiple angles.

A short clip does what a still cannot: it turns the product through several angles in one continuous take, so the shopper sees how it catches the light and how the parts relate. AdaptiveIQ generates this from your hero shot, so it costs nothing but a click.
